I have been fishing & diving in the beautiful Gulf of Mexico my entire life, and I have been lucky enough to be able to parlay my life's love into a successful Charter Business. I have taken my Custom, 31' Center Console, The Pelagic, far and wide in search of fishing adventure. I have run several long-range trips to the Dry Tortuga's & the Bahamas, as well as fishing my home waters, both deep & shallow. Along the way, I have had great success at everything from blue water trolling action to reef chumming for Snapper & Grouper. My philosophy of fishing is "Catch everything that swims, when it swims!", meaning that I will target the species that are hottest at the time. Winter time Grouper is a mainstay, as well as spring Permit and summertime Snapper (and more!). I spend many hours on the water, and always know what is going on with the current conditions. I have to, because it is my JOB!! I have fished in both SKA and FLW Kingfish tournaments, and have won money a couple of times. Just this past January, (on my birthday), my team & I took "largest Grouper", "heaviest three fish", and "the Calcutta" in a local Grouper tourney. I am currently fishing out of Stump Pass Marina, Englewood, Florida. The marina is on the intra coastal waterway, a stone's throw away from the Gulf of Mexico. I have found the fishing offshore in this area to be excellent. My book of coordinates is chock full of great ledges, hard bottom and wrecks. That alone offers me a great variety of fishing scenarios. In the past few months, I have been probing ever further into the Gulf... Fishing on some spots in the seventy to one-hundred mile range has been ridiculous! The bite in closer (13 to 30 miles, in 60/100 foot depths) has been very productive for Grouper & Snapper. As always, I look forward to another stellar Tarpon season, as well as the spring Permit run. |

I am still on the lookout for some sponsors, especially from the companies whose products I use & abuse while fishing charters and tournaments. In the near future, I am shooting for some IGFA record catches aboard The Pelagic. I am always taking new clients. If anyone wants to go on what could be the "trip of a lifetime", please don't hesitate to contact me! Serious inquiries only please -- I am a very busy Captain! |
